Johan Rozali-Wathooth is the Executive Director and Managing Partner of Bintang Capital Partners Berhad, the private equity arm of Affin Hwang Asset Management Berhad.

Johan is also the Deputy Managing Director of Affin Hwang Asset Management Berhad, where he drives the development of the firm’s overall alternative assets business, the Innovation Lab, in addition to overseeing the Government Linked Companies and Personal Wealth Retail sales channels.

He is also a board member of the Bitsmedia Pte. Ltd. group entities.

Prior to joining Bintang Capital Partners, he spent over three years with RHB Investment Bank where he held his final position as the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions division, covering South East Asia, where he led a number of landmark M&A transactions on behalf of RHB Investment Bank.
