In celebration of B Lab’s B Corp Month in March 2024, Bintang Capital Partners is organising our first ever impact conference!
The B Corp movement was started in 2006 by three friends, Jay Coen Gilbert, Bart Houlahan and Andrew Kassoy in Pennsylvania and has since grown exponentially.
As of January 2024, the US alone boasts 1,857 B Corps, while the UK is home to 1,819.
Within ASEAN, whilst a fewer 88 companies have the B Corp certification, the numbers have been rising rapidly over the last few years.
Bintang Capital Partners proudly became a B Corp in May 2023, and through the work we do we hope to help many more fast-growing, innovative and impactful companies become B Corps too.
Our first conference, Building a Better Future Together, is geared towards increasing awareness of this very dynamic movement as well as fostering a better understanding of the certification itself.
